DISTRICT PLU: LEARNING AND THE BRAIN
How activation and use of memory networks makes them stronger? How can we help our students form long-term conceptual memories? How stress inhibits learning? Teachers with foundational understanding of cognitive neuroscience will be the most prepared to guide all students to achieve their highest potentials.
This course has truly motivated me to help each student maximize their learning potential and help every child grow regardless of what society may say about them.
This course has been very beneficial to me. It has given me the opportunity to dig deeper into my teaching belief and expound on them. The more I maneuvered through this course the more my mind opened up to different methods of learning.
I have really gained a different insight on how the brain works and it's affects on student learning. I will certainly share the articles, videos, and teaching strategies with my staff in professional development settings.
